WASHINGTON?A pair of lawmakers will reintroduce legislation that would streamline the regulation of surplus lines insurers.

The measure?the Nonadmitted and Reinsurance Reform Act?has won House approval twice before but never reached the Senate floor. Reps. Dennis Moore, D-Kan., and Scott Garrett, R-N.J., plan to reintroduce the measure soon, a spokeswoman for Rep. Garrett said Wednesday.
